What errors are you getting when you try to view that domain?

Re: Unable to Bind to Second Domain

hi and thank you for the reply
i have gotten several different erros depending on which method i used to add the second domain. If i use Object manager Config TYPE= windows 2000/3 ADSI= LDAP://DOMAIN and then point it to the correct DC i am unable to bind RPC server is unavailable.
then i right click the object i just added and select authentication credentials and i get the error A dns formatted domain path and server must be used....., so i go back to object editor and change the object to DNS style format and when i exit the object editor the authentication credenmtials selection is gone and i am back to where i started?

Set the ADSI Path to a format of LDAP://DOMAIN.com, and remove the entry that you have for ADSI Server. Save that, and try to view the domain. What error do you get like that?

With it configured that way, try the Authentication Credentials again. If that still doesn't work send screen shots of the errors and of the way you have your domain object configured to [email protected].
