  • Pushing out password with Windows Firewall

I am trying to push out a password to the local admin account and the workstations with XP Firewall enabled are giving me a "The network path was not found" error in the logs. It works if I disable the firewall. Is there a workaround where I can keep the firewall enabled and possibly pass through only a couple ports as opposed to disabling the entire firewall? Thanks in advance.

In the Windows Firewall open up port TCP 445, and that should let you through.
