This has nothing to due with Hyena, but if you have a 2003 server and can afford to get R2. There is an AWSOME printer management snapin that just may work for what your trying to do

Re: Updating Printer Rights on multiple printers
After having the same problem and needing to update 2000+ print Qs, here's what I came up with. Using the program SetACL http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=69165
Here is the custom tool I came up with.
c:\print\SetACL.exe -on "%E%" -ot prn -actn ace -ace "n:domain\groupname;p:man_docs" -ace "n:domain\groupname;print" -ace "n:domain\groupname;p:man_docs" -ace "n:domain\groupname;p
rint"
This example gave 2 different groups Print, and manage documents rights. There may be a more condensed way of running this but it does work.

Updating Printer Rights on multiple printers
Is there an easy way to modifing the rights on all printers on a server? I need to allow our HelpDesk Group to manage jobs in a print queue. I have over 500 printers.
I am reallly do not want to make them Print Operators.
