Locally Logged On Users

When I view Locally Logged on Users, it states "The following user(s) have been determined to be logged on locally to the selected computer(s)" and shows multiple users logged in all the time (on the same computer) even though nobody is ACTUALLY logged on. Can anyone explain how this is happening? Could it be historical data vs. actual data? If so, how do I make it show only actual data? If you post your email address, I can send you a screen shot. Thanks for any help you can provide.

This function checks hkey_users on the computer, I believe. What you may be seeing are accounts used as service accounts for services running on the computer.

Thank you, cmccullough. I wonder if this is related to a third party software not releasing something in the user profile. What do you think? Thanks again for the help.
