  • How Do I View IP Addresses Within Computers Object?

I am trying to view a list of all Computers at certain IP addresses (to find computers at different locations). Sorting by IP address would be the most convenient way to know which users are at which locations to update information. Is this possible? Is there a setting that I am missing to be able to right-click on the Computers object on the left half of the screen and select the Tabular Views -> Computer (Detailed) option to view on the right, or something similar? Could someone please assist me with this? Thanks.

Those queries will only show AD data, of which IP address is not included. This is stored in the computer's registry. For these reasons there's no way to add a field to the right window that would give you this data.

What you can do, though, is use Exporter Pro to export the IP information for all computers to a file. You can then open that file with Excel and sort on the IP column.

To do this you can select your computers in Hyena, then go to Tools->Exporter Pro->Export Selected Objects. Click the Settings button then double-click on Network Settings(TCP/IP). Configure that to export and click Start Export to run it.
