Does Hyena have the abiltiy to look/search and find duplicate SIDS in a windows 2000 native mode domain? If so, how?

    Re: Duplicate SIDS

I believe Hyena uses the same search feature that dsa.msc uses. Are you looking to see if you have duplicate sid's or you know you have? The easiest way I have found duplicate sid's is to look in the event logs on your DC. You should have a error with KDC as source.

I don't know much about duplicate SIDs, but if you right click on All Users, select Tabular Views->User Detailed (General), you should see the SID as the last column. If you don't see it, you can add it to the query.

        Re: Duplicate SIDS

I apologize for the long delay. I got my applications mixed up. I know about both the sid listing in hyena and to look at AD for errors but I had thought it was hyena that I used for this but it was actually a MS freebie product EventComb that I used. Thanks for the replies.
