  • 'Remote Control' tab on User properties

How can I edit entries in the 'Remote Control' tab within the User properties pages?

We have 5000 users and need to ensure that all of the users have a check mark in "Enable remote control", and no check mark in "Require user's permission"

Can this be done with Hyena in a Windows 2003 domain?

    Thanks.

The "Remote Control" tab doesn't even show up within Hyena, only AD Users and Computers tool...

I forgot to mention that earlier.

You should see a tab labeled 'Terminal' on your user properties dialog. Click the Config button on this dialog to see the settings.

You can also use Hyena to access the shell property sheet (the same dialog that you get in ADU&C) by selecting Account Functions->Shell Properties for any user.

Unfortunately you can't modify this information for multiple users at once. You might try experimenting with TSCMD from our Free Tools page to see if it will work for this.
