How can I get a physical inventory count of the number of CPU processors currently residing in my servers?

If you just want a list of the number of processors, you can use the WMI Win32_ComputerSystem query. This query is provided in Hyena by default under each computers' WMI object.

If you want more detailed information, you need to setup your own WMI query in Hyena to use the Win32_Processor class.

If you need help with either, let us know.

I am interested in the Win32_Processor class properties.

I ran the Win32_Processors class of properties in Scriptomatic. I am in the process of identifying which properties I am interested in.

I need to run this script on all the servers in my domain. I was planning on using ADSI for that part.

If you want the properties of the Win32_Processor class, why not just run the WMI query on all of your computers in Hyena ? I don't see what Scriptomatic can do for you there.

Active Directory has nothing to do with processors or other hardware information.
