System Shutdown

I recently pushed a shutdown and a notice popped up on the user's workstations that they were unable to close/minimize... stating the workstation would be shutdown in 1 day. How do you prevent this message from ever popping up?

When you use the Shutdown function in Hyena there is a box to specify a message, and another to set the number of seconds before timeout. You might be able to avoid that message by not typing in anything there, or using a smaller timeout value.

If you still have someone that has a long timeout value, you can try running the shutdown function again and it should allow you to abort the shutdown.

I didn't put in a message, but still a popup came and a short time out. The information on recalling the shut down was most helpful, though!!

Please post the exact error/message if you can, as this is a Microsoft message and in order to research it, we need the exact full message.
