  • Exporting

    Hi,
I have a list that I've highlighted that I would like to export into an excel spreadsheet. All it keeps doing is creating a .dat file and I can't get it to open with the users that I have selected. I'm highlighting users in the "All Users" selection. Can you help me?

    Thanks!

    Re: Exporting

If I understand what you are wanting to do, you simply need to select the users in the right window, then do a Ctrl-c. This brings up the Copy List Window allowing you to save the data either to the Windows Clipboard or a delimited text file.

I tried that as well....where does it get saved to? I didn't see anywhere where it says the location of the newly created text file....

You specify the name and path in the Text File box, such as:

        c:\users.txt

If you choose the Windows Clipboard option you can open Excel and do an Edit->Paste and paste directly into Excel.
