  • How do I timestamp reports internally?

    Friends,

I am exporting lots of files which are being sent to a SQL server for parsing. I need to timestamp my exported files within the text of the file so we can date breakouts.

Anyone have any idea how to do this or how to work around the issue?

Would it help if there were a date/time value in the exported data ? We could add a new symbol like %DATE_TIME% which could be added to the output easily in the current beta.

Definately - especially since we are using this tool to capture information for SOx evidenciary purposes.

Is there no current way to time stamp my log files internally?

No, there isn't a way to put a timestamp into the output data now.

I can probably revise the beta by early next week.
