  • Machine / IP Address view

I would like to be able to view all machines by thier name and IP address so I can sort by the IP and select those computers to move them to different OUs. Is this possible?

Unfortunately there would be no way to add that to the view. You would probably have to export the IP information using Exporter Pro, then go through the output file.

Would it be possible to fileter a view to something like all machines within 10.77.201.* ?

Again you would have to do this with the output through Excel or Access possibly. Since this is not a field that can be added to the view, there would be no way to filter/sort on it.

If you have the Enterprise Edition and your remote computers have WMI configured, you can get the ip address from the WMI class Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration. Hyena has a sample WMI query for this class. You won't be able to move the resulting display to an OU, but you should be able to get the address information that you need from WMI.
