I am currently migrating 70 users from NT server to Server 2003. I have the current Service Pack for NT but I am unable to get the Server 2003 box to connect to the domain as a domain controller. I have been able to export most of my user accounts, but I still would feel more comfortable connecting to the domain, any ideas?

Re: Migrating from NT to Server 2003
Two things here.
1. You are bringing up the 2003 as it's own domain?
2. You built this as a domain controller in an existing domain?
It sounds like you did #1 which means you will need to migrate everything over. This is the wrong forums for that topic. Option #2 is propbably easier to do. You still have to migrate but you keep the same domain name ( I think)

Re: Migrating from NT to Server 2003
Check your security settings on your NT domain. It's likely that your NTLM compatability level is set to 0 on your NT domain, and 2K3 talks using Kerebos, which NT will not even acknowledge unless your NTLM compatability level is set to 3 on all machines. The catch here is the PDC on the NT domain, it's level must be set to 4.
Hope this helps!
