The only thing I can think of is that you have them configured differently. Send screen shots to [email protected] so we can see what you are seeing and explain it better.

we have tested the same procedure with version 4.7 and could not reproduce this behavior.
do you have an idea why the older version is working better?

Make sure you aren't confusing the Comment with Description. Comment is a Browse List field, and Description comes from AD. When you choose Tabular Views you are viewing the Description. When you are adding this information to a computer if you see Comment, this is not the same.

i try to change the comments for machines and user. example on a machine:

i go to the properties of the machine and add a comment (something like room1) and save it (->OK).
if i take a look in the tabular view (double click on computer) some of the machines have still no comments.

the same problem with the user...
what could the problem be?
