ok - got it to work.
but I don't get the information I want to get!

I want to export the following thing:
      Computername OS-Type
      ....

      Is that possible?

        Set this in your export.ini:

        ExportComputerProperties=1

          Re: Exporter.exe

          Hi,

ok - now I get the information.
But the export does not find any information for linux systems.

What can I do for that?
          Thanks

Hyena won't report on Linux computers, but rather only Windows systems.

              Re: Exporter.exe

it would be ok if there is the entry like in the hyena explorer: samba/linux server.

If I click on my domain, select server, wait a few seconds there are all servers appearing. The non-Windows Systems has in Server OS the entry "samba/linux".
But I think thats not possible with the exporter.exe??

How does Hyena get this information??

Do you know of another tool that is selecting the server os like
                servername - server os??

                Thank

                  Re: Exporter.exe

Hyena builds the Servers folder from the Windows Browse List, so that is probably why you are seeing these. You can experiment in Exporter Pro by going to the General tab and changing the Domain Computer Retrieval Method to Get Computers from Windows Browse List.

I can't test this because I don't have any Linux on my network, but you should be able to see fairly easily if these will be included in the output or not.

                    Re: Exporter.exe

Using Exporter Pro, you can select which output fields you want to see, one of which is the computer browse type for the Computers expot. UNIX is one of them, which is the same as Linux.

                      Re: Exporter.exe

OK - this is working now.
I'm using exporter.exe with some configuration settings.

Is there any possibility to disable the reporting of the hotfixes? Or can I select my own information?
I don't need the information about domain or hotfix...
                      Thanks

                        Re: Exporter.exe

You could if you were using Exporter Pro, but not with exporter.exe.
