Generate a list / report of unsured Local / Domain Groups

Hi All,

I'm trying to find out if Hyena can be used to run a report against ACL's on a number of servers to find out if Domain Local or Global Group in an A/D domain are not being used.

This report would aide in the cleaning up of unused groups in our A/D Environment that aren't part of our New Naming Standard and would prevent the accidental removal of access to files and resources.

Unfortunately I don't think you'll find an easy way to do this one. Hyena can list the NTFS data for all files and directories on your servers, one server at a time. You would have to take that data and compare it to a list of your groups.

Someone with Access experience should be able to create a differences report of some type within Access if you give them the list of groups and the output of the NTFS information.
