Is there away to run a report to tell when the last time a user or workstation logged into the domain?

You can do this using Exporter Pro. You'll select your domain in Hyena, then go to Tools->Settings->Exporter Pro->Export Selected Objects.

When the small Export Selected Objects dialog comes up you can click the Settings button to configure what you want to export. If this is a Windows 2000 Domain, click on Active Directory, then click on Export Properties. Click on Detailed User, then click Properties. Check the Enabled checkbox, then click Set Options. Check the box to Enable exporting user information from all domain controllers.

Click OK to save this, and verify that Last Logon is in the Left window. If not, find it in the right window and click Add so it is in the left window.

Click OK until you get back to the small Export Selected Objects dialog again and click Start Export. When complete, edit the output file and you should see the information.

Arrrgggg....For some reason it os only running against my workstation not the entire domian...I will continue to llok for the probllem.....What do I need to change so that it will search the entire domain not just my local workstation?

Make sure you are selecting your domain in Hyena prior to using the Export Selected Objects function.

Also, when you click the Settings button, the next window that comes up has bolded and un-bolded options on it. Make sure the Active Directory, Detailed User is the only one bolded. If any of the others are, double-click on them and uncheck the box that enables them.

Also, is there a predefined setting to find out the last time a maching logged into the domain?

You can right-click on the Computers folder beneath your domain and choose Tabular Views->Computer(Detailed). When this finishes displaying in the right window, look for the Pwd Last Set column. You can sort on that to see computers that have not set their password in a period of time.
