  • Export PC's Running A Specified Process?

I'm looking to use Exporter Pro to audit looking for certain processes running on PC's across the network... can someone tell me if Hyena can be used for this?

Unfortunately processes can't be exported. You might try something like pslist.exe from sysinternals.com.

Thanks - another question... can you export a list of PC's whether or not they are running a particular service?

i.e. there's a service 'IAP' running (Dell OpenManage Client) - I'd like to have a complete list, either all PC's and whether or not the service is installed, or just those without it installed...

      Thanks,

      ~Andrew

Well, sort of. You can specify a service to export, and run that against all computers. The problem is that the output will only contain the computers that have that service.

So, you would have to compare that list against a list of all computers to figure out which ones don't have the service.

If you have an Access programmer that would do this for you, you can give them two files, one with all computers and the other with the list of computers that have the service on them, and have a difference report created for you.
