Backing up reg files

I searched the group and did not find anything. I have about 60 machines that I need to back up ONLY the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software Keys. Any suggestions?

p.s. Thanks for the mods to exporter in 5.7. Excellent!

Hyena can export the information in those keys to a delimited text file for you, but if you need to save the key for restoration purposes, you'll have to create a script of some sort to do this.

You might be able to use something like the utility included in the Windows Resource Kit.

Thanks. The tool in RK is pretty weak. I tried to export the key from Hyena, and it told me that function only applied to certain objects... reg keys not included. Can you point me to a faq on your other suggestion?

You can do this with Exporter Pro under Tools->Exporter Pro.
