  • Installed IIS

    Hi,

Is it possible using Hyena to indentify users within my network who have IIS installed?

    Many thanks

One idea would be to use the Export Services option under File->Export->Services. At the bottom you can specify a service that you want to look for by enclosing the service name in [].

The output file can then be opened with Excel and you'll see the computers that have that particular service installed.

Many thanks this kind of works, even though I don't believe IIS is actually a "Service" as such, Hyena doesn't pick it out as one when specifying the [iis] option on the export.
Is identifying port '80' open on a workstation possible at all?

You'll need to identify the name of a service that is running when IIS is installed. I believe there is one like IISAdmin or something along those lines.

Is the Export just for reporting?

Yes, it creates text files of information on users, computers, groups, etc.

You can then open those files with Excel or Access.
