  • who logged in last to this PC?

Is there a way to determine who has logged on to a certain PC last through hyena? will it display the pc name and who has logged in last and so forth???

    Thanks!

Hyena will show the current user logged on to the system. Once that user logs off, you would have to check the registry to see who last logged on.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\DefaultUserName

This will show you the last user logged on. Of course, you could easily script a tool to get this info and pop it up to you (rather than having to go diggin' for it).

    Hope this helps!

I didnt know if this was a feature with in Hyena or not, trying to utilize the app as much as possible. So I didnt know if it was right click on that computer name and look into 1 of the tabs somewhere, like you can do when you want to see when someone has logged into the domain last and what DC they have hit... very useful to see where someones account has been locked out.

We use SMS here somewhat, and we can see what user has logged in last that way, didnt know if Hyena had the same ability aswell.

      Thanks for the replies!

Well, one of Hyena's most elastic features is it's ability to launch custom tools. The app, as you put it, is flexible enough so that custom solutions can easily be integrated into the product to provide a total package.

Like I said, a really simple script, ran as a tool in Hyena, would show you this info.
