Is there a way to show member-counts for a listing of groups?

No, I don't believe there would be a way to do this.

Can you clarify what exactly you are looking for on this?

Do you have a few groups that you need to know membership counts on, or many of them?

We're working through a migration and need to clean up our groups. A key element to this is ensuring that groups are duplicated appropriately on the new system. If I can see that the counts are the same, I would be satisfied. I also want to delete groups that aren't used, which I would know by a low to no member-count.

To answer your question, I want to see accurate counts for all groups (a column to add to a view).

Unfortunately this wouldn't be possible. You can see a member count if you view the Members object for a group, but there is no way to get this for all groups or multiple groups.
