Re: Stopping Messenger Service on Multiple PCs

The fix for this is to use the Service Name for the service, which in this case is Messenger.

As a test, find two computers that allow you to stop this service individually. Once you find two that you know will work when done individually, select those two only, then try to stop or start that service.

Let us know the results of this.

Stopping Messenger Service on Multiple PCs

I can stop the messenger service on an individual PC, but it fails when I try on multiple PCs. I get: Unable to open service "svchost.exe". Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. Is there anyway I can do this globally with hyena?
