  • Refreshing hyena's db

Please clear up what may be a misunderstanding on my part. When I run todays reports is the information in the db automatically updated to real time or am I pulling reports from old information. Should that be the case how do I assure the information is timely every time I open Hyena

    Thanks

    Re: Refreshing hyena's db

When you are viewing data in Hyena it is being retrieved real-time and does not store this.

If you are referring to the Access database, it takes the results from the right window and sends that to the appropriate table in the database. When you run these reports that are sent to this database there is a choice of whether to Append the data or Overwrite it.

That answers part of my question. Since we're still in testing we are using User manager in NT as well as Hyena. Changes made in User manager are not showing up on any screen of Hyena. I've tried resync the domain but the only way to see the changes is to close Hyena and start it again. So where am I going wrong?

        Re: Refreshing hyena's db

After you've synchronized the domain, are you refreshing the data in Hyena's right window?

Where exactly are you seeing the information incorrectly in Hyena?

It might help if you send a few screen shots to [email protected] showing the change in User Manager, and what Hyena shows.
