  • Running Scheduled Task on Multiple Machines

I am hoping to use Hyena to execute a file on multiple machines simultaneously. I can use Hyena to schedule the task and run it on one machine, but I have not had luck finding a way to run it on a group of about 50 machines. The .exe is already on the PC in the admin share, I just need to find a way to execute all 50 at the same time (which varies week to week)

You can use the Copy Task function for this. Select your 50 computers in Hyena's right window, then right-click and choose More Functions->Copy Remote Job (Task).

This will allow you to find the task you want to copy, then will copy that to the selected computers.

      Thanks for the info!
Will I be able to remotely start all 50 at the same time also? Right now in my test group, I am right-clicking on the task and running it when I need to.

      Thanks again,

      Mike

Hyena will literally copy the task, so whatever you have it scheduled as on the source computer will be what is set on the target computers.
