Copy local groups that contain domain global groups

how do i copy a local group on one computer to another computer and the local group contains a global/domain group as a member? i get an error... it says a group member is of the wrong type...

Have you tried selecting the Copy group members by SID checkbox?

If so, send more details including the version of Hyena you are using to [email protected]

thanks, already did and successfully copied the groups... can you copy multiple groups at the same time? couldn't seem to highlight more than 1 group.

You can select multiple groups on the right window of Hyena. This will allow you to copy multiple groups at once.

interesting... but when i click on local groups, the right window does not display the list of groups... so i'm still stuck...

You should be able to double-click on Local Groups in the left window to display them in the right window.

strange, tried it before and it didn't work... closed the app and tried it again and it works. thanks for all of your help. hyena just saved me a couple of hours of work!!! had to copy a bunch of groups with a lot of members from one server to two others and was able to do it in minutes. it took someone else several hours to do the same task manually.
