Re: how do I tell which workstation a user is logged on to ?
To find out what user is logged on to a computer, you can right-click on the computer and choose View Logged on Users.
Unfortunately there is no way in NT or 2000 to take a user and quickly see where that user is logged on at. But, using the method above, you can select all of your workstations in the right window, then right-click and choose View Logged on Users. This will display all selected computers and which users are logged onto them.
There is also a Copy to Clipboard button that you can use to copy and paste that information into Excel so you can sort on username and find the users you are looking for.
