Copy Local Group with SID

I'm running a demo of your Hyena 3.0 software. I'm trying to see if it will perform a task I need done. I need to move all the Local Groups from one server to another server, and keep the original SIDs intact. I've try your software, and it moves the Local Groups, but it does not copy the original SID with the group. Can your software do this?

I don't know of anything that you can use to change the SID of these groups, if it can be done.

If the purpose of this is to move data to this new machine, you might want to look at Secure Copy from http://smallwonders.com

It will create the local groups on the target computer and then modify the ACL of all of the files to match the SID of the newly created local group.

I tried a demo of Secure Copy, and it will copy the SIDs. The only problem is, they license per server. This makes it very expensive, if you have a lot of servers to move.

This might be able to help you out with this.
