    Re: Logon script

This setting is documented in our help file, but that is the only special symbol that we use.

    Thankyou, worked like a treat.

Is there a list of these wildcard entries anywhere? I thought there must be something like the one you suggested above before I posted, but could not find anything on wildcards after doing a search in the help.

If you are using the English version, enter in ~DEL for the logon script field to DELETE the contents of the attribute when you are working with more than one user. We do it this way to prevent accidently clearing something unintentionally.

The mulitple property change works if I use a different batch file name, but if I try and remove the bath file from more than one user it does not refresh the list. Is there anyway to remove the logon batch file on mulitple users? E.G. A wildcard that tells the porgram you are trying to blank that field on multiple users?

Yes, you select the users (you have to select them in the rightmost window..the 'list' window), right click, select Properties, go to the Profile tab, and change the script. When you click OK, all of the user's logon script will be updated. You can change any attribute on multiple users this way.

    Logon script

    Hi all,

Is there some kind of way to change the logon script for selected
users? e.g change the logon script from "logon.bat" to "NEWlogon.bat" for
    any 20 users I select?

    TIA
Working...
