  • Finding if Global Group is on all workstations

How do I find if a global group is on all of my workstations in the local admin group?

    Thanks in advance,
    Michael

You can do this using the Export Members function under File->Export->Members. This will create a delimited text file that you can import into Excel and then sort on Username.

You will then find that particular group and be able to see all computers that contain that as a member of any of the local workstation groups.

also, depending on what you are trying to achieve you can try something else. If you DO want a certain group to be a member and are looking for the gaps that you need to fill... highlight all of the relevant computers in the right hand side.

right click and select "more functions", then "add/remove group member" then fill in the details.

You can add (or remove) the correct group and use the "do not show errors..." to suppress the messages where appropriate.
