Re: Dial-in access
How do I configure RAS? Do I need to log in to the remote system as an administrator? Can I use encription? If my client already has an perm. internet connection (T1,DSL,etc.)...can I still do administration?
Please bear with me, I just started using this product today.
Thanks.

We have many customers that use Hyena for remote administration with no problems.
If you try it let us know how it goes for you.</span></div></div>

Re: Dial-in access
If they are permanently connected to the Internet you might be able to directly administer it without using RAS.
The easiest test to see if this will work is to connect your machine to the Internet, then go into Hyena to Quick Access. You will see this at the bottom of the left window in Hyena.
Right-click on it and choose Manage Quick Access, then click the Add button. For Object Name type in the IP address of the remoter server that you want to administer. Click OK until you get back to Hyena's main view. Expand Quick Access, then Computers and right-click on the IP address that you just added. Try to view Users on that server.
If you are able to connect to it, and it authenticates you, you will be able to administer it this way. If you get an access denied message you will need to right-click on the server and choose Logon As. Type in an administrative account and password, then try to view users on that server again.
