Wrong entries in Processes

There is a problem with the amounts reported under "Processes". I have a service that is actually using 2MB virtual memory (performance monitor/task manager) and Hyena is reporting 400MB. It nearly gave me a heart attack :-)

Hello Thomas,

Which columns in Hyena are you comparing to the Task Manager columns? Task Manager has the ability to add additional fields by going to View->Select Columns.

Can you verify for us that you have the same information displayed between the two?

I am comparing the performance counter "Virtual Bytes" from a process in the performance monitor or "VM Size" from the task manager with the column "VMem" in Hyena
The problem seems to be a broken performance counter for the VM Size

The sizes are:

Perfmon: 416817152 Bytes
Hyena: 407048 KBytes
Task Manager: 3924 KBytes

Since other tools report 407 MB as well when reading the performance data there seems to be a problem with the data itself. When I look into "Page File Bytes" the value is 4 MB which corresponds with the task manager info

This is definitively no Hyena problem.
