View Accout Policy?

User Manager for NT 4.0 lets you view and change the account policy "Users must log on in order to change password". I haven't been able to find how to do this in Hyena 2.5.2. Is this possible? Thanks.

Unfortunately this is an undocumented function in NT that we were never able to get support on.

We feel it is probably a registry setting or flag somewhere, but until we find the 'secret' hiding place for it we are unable to offer this particular setting.

If we do find anything we will definitely consider adding it to a future release.

Trying it with Regmon revealed that some changes were made in HKLM\SAM\SAM\DOMAINS\Account\V and HKLM\SAM\SAM\DOMAINS\Account\F.
Unfortunately it is not too easy to check for the changes...
