Join our beta program by sending an email to [email protected]. We have some upcoming changes that might make this possible. This is not really a function for a macro but rather AD, which has a mechanism for filtering already built-in.

    I have the same problem.
I have one OU with 4000 useraccounts.
    I have to filter out:
    All accounts with accountflag "Disable"
All accounts with "name 1" in display name
All accounts with "name 2" in display name
    .....
All accounts with "name 6" in display name

That is 7 times I have to run the filter.
A macro funktion will solve this.

Unfortunately, no you can't do this (save and recall the filters). In the next version of Hyena we will attempt to resolve this issue through stored procedures in Active Directory. If the users being filtered are always the same users, then you could try putting them all into a group, and then just viewing them through their group membership. Or, put in a comment into the "Note" field that is on the users's Account dialog. You can add the note field to the View all User Details display under the Tools->Settings->Display option.

    Internal macros in Hyena?

    Hi out there,
I frequently need a list of certain users and I am doing it now by applying about 5 filters manually. Is there a way to store these filters and apply them with one push of a button?
Working...
