Do you have the Exchange Tools installed on your computer? If so, how is your domain path configured under File->Manage Object View?

Adding the ADSI Server should have taken care of that. Send a screen shot of your Object Manager dialog to [email protected].

OK...that works, the problem with that is that we have over 50K objects and it taks two minutes to enumerate and display. Is there a fix??

Go to All Users again and manually find the user rather than using the View option and see if that makes a difference.

    Same error...

    Steps when receiveing error:
    Expand Domain
right-click on All Users and select view
type in user alias and click OK
    double-click on user
    click on Exchange Properties
    receive error

    Steps with no error:
    expand domain
right-click on Containers and select find
type in user alias and click Find Now
    double-click on user
    click on Exchange Properties
    works great...no error

Go back to File->Manage Object View, click on your domain and enter one of your controllers in the ADSI Server box. Make sure you click Update to save the change, then OK to close the dialog.

If that still results in the same error tell us what exact steps you are taking when you go through All Users. Meaning, are you using the View option to search for a user, or simply double-clicking on one, etc.

    2nd Error:
    Unable to display shell property sheet. Result = 9002, Path = LDAP://domain.com/CN=name, OU=Name, OU=Name, DC=Name, DC=Name, DC=com. <Null> HRESULT 0x232A => DNS server failure.

Regarding the object path, I have tried three...
    LDAP://Domain
    LDAP://Domain.com
    LDAP://Domain_Controller

What is the rest of that second message? Also, if you go to File->Manage Object View and click on your domain, what is the format of your ADSI Path? For example do you have LDAP://domain or LDAP://domain.com format?

    Exchange Properties Error

I am getting an error when I click on the Exchange Properties box. This only happens if I access the user properties through All Users. If i drill-down through a container, I do not receive this error and the Exch properties works fine.

    1st Error:
    Error ID no: 80004005
Microsoft Active Directory - Exchange Extension

    2nd Error:
    Unabel to display shell property...

    Hyena v6.7 Rev 'D'
    Exchange 2K3
    Windows 2K3

    Thank you in advance.
Working...
