  • Unable to find DAPI.DLL for Exch Integration

When I launch Hyena v5.7C I get the error "Unable to find DAPI.DLL for Exchnage integration. Either change the Exchange options under Tools... or install Exch Admin Tools on workstation.
I'm logging on to an XP workstation in an Active Directory domain and connecting to both an Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange 5.5 in an NT domain. I have "Exchange 5.5 Administrator" tool and the "Active Directory for users & computers" installed.

What options do you have set under Tools->Settings for Exchange?

Checks in the following boxes -
      Exchange 5.5 TAB
(settings come from .ini file used sucessfully for same version of Hyena we have running on a workstation in NT domain)
      - Enable Hyena's Custom Exch Integ...
      - Delete mailbox when deleting Win NT user accounts
      - New mailbox option/Add mailbox when creating...
      - Prompt me for these settings each time

      Exchange200x TAB
      - Enable Exchange 2000/2003 Integration
      - Prompt for template and Exchange settings when creating mailbox

I'm not sure if Hyena will let you have both 5.5 and 2000 enabled like that, but one thing to test is to check the Enable User Manager Extensions on the Exchange 5.5 tab. Restart and see what happens.

Yes, checking that box did away with the error. I have yet to get my mind around the effect this has on our other .ini settings - but I'll worry about that for now.
          Thanks for your quick responses.
