When does it support exchange 2000 ?

We plan to provide full Exchange 2000 support in our next release, which should be out early next year. In the meantime, we believe that Hyena can support Exchange 2000 through the "custom" Exchange option (Tools->Settings->Exchange). The other interface (User Manager Extensions) won't work because this is no longer supported by Microsoft after 5.5. When using the custom Exchange interface, Hyena uses LDAP to communicate to the designated Exchange server. However, the Exchange dialogs are not integrated into the user dialogs yet, but this will be addressed in our next release.

Is this supported under the Beta3c?? I am veryeager to try this function out but don't want to crash anything. when I looked at the implementation in the beta it appeared to be the same as the current release.

No, its not in the beta, but we are working on it. We have an issue that we are waiting (and waiting, and waiting...) on with Microsoft on at the moment that will resolve how we proceed on this.

My Exchange environment currently support 5.5 aswell can I continue to use the o= ou= cn= pathing to create mailboxes?

At this time we are looking on releasing a version that will work with Exchange 2000 by early January.

We are currently in beta for our v3.5 which adds quite a bit of new functionality and adds OU support.

Once we release v3.5 we will start working on Exchange 2000.
