  • migrating Tools from ver5.7c to 6.2b

all my tools from ver5.7c are in the shared settings .ini file as defined in the Hyena settings. As the new version doesn't recognize these tools in the same .ini file I'm trying to add them in manually but the allowed number of characters in the COMMAND LINE field seems to be significantly reduced.
Is this so?...or better...there must be an easier way to import the tools from my old ini file to the TOOL_CMDS.DAT file?

It looks like it is around 256 characters or so...how long are the commands you are using?

Yes, it truncating my Commands at 260 characters, including spaces. My longest tool is 2047 characters. Again, these tools worked fine in previous verions.

What you can do is add them to the tool_cmds.dat directly. The character limit only applies to that field in the GUI, but you can use your entire command in the file.
