Hyena Tools no longer available to all users

In 5.5 it appears hyena tools are specific to individual users. My tools are not visible when I do a "runas" when starting hyena.

Is there a way to to have the same tools available for all users?

Hyena saves this information to the hkey_current_user key, which is different for each user, including the Run As.

This is not new to 5.5, but has always been done this way. To share this information between users you can use the Shared Settings option under Tools->Settings->General.

that works, thanks.

I know I didn't do anything like that under windows 2000 and the tools are perfectly synched between whether I run hyena as myself or if I use a runas. On the new system I'm running XP.

Another option is to use a shared settings files under Tools->Settings->General and use the file yourself. You can manually edit the file to remove settings that you want to be able to change later and just leave the tool settings in the settings file. That might work.
