How can I see the nono protected files in my server

Dear sir,
I want to see which files are protected en which not. I work with windows 2000 server and NT 4.0 server.My problem is that some people in the company I work, can get into some files while they don't have to see these
informations.I want to protect the files that not protected?I don't want to look after the files file by file to chnage the permessions, Ik want to see just files are not protected, then I can change the permessions.
