Re: sheduling task/multiple pc's
The basic technique is to display computers in the right (list) window. You can get the computers in the right window through any method that you want to. Select the ones that you want to schedule a job on, right click, select More Functions and select either add remote task (AT) or Copy Task.
The "AT" function uses the old AT-style scheduler, which you would have to use on any older systems, but you can also use it on newer systems too that use the task scheduler.
The Copy Task function is a bit different: it lets you copy a task from one computer to the selected computers. Essentially, the .job file gets copied.

Re: sheduling task/multiple pc's
well,
I only used Hyena for first time yesterday.
When I clcik on computers on left (AD) they show up on left. What do i need to do to get them on the right pane?
I need to select a certain few and them run sch. job.
With AT or sonn command it's hard, because in the batch file I have to connect to server, so I have to have username/password. With hyena it sure would make it easy to select multiple pc's and run it al at once.
thx

Re: sheduling task/multiple pc's
To get the computers in the right window, just double-click on the Computers (NT) object or All Computers (Windows 2000) objects from the left window. That is the easiest way. The reason this function is only available in the right window is because you have to have multi-select capability.Kevin Stanush
