It works a lot better if you get the XP remote desktop client (it still works on win2k). Just change the path to the exe.

You can get the client from microsofts web site.

    Thanks,
    Tim

This should bring the server name into MSTSC

    MSTSC.EXE /v:%E%

    I've done the same thing:

    C:\Progra~1\Termin~1\MSTSC.EXE %E%

The TS Webclient is available from the MS web site.

That fires up IE and connects to the correct server, and puts in my UserID. It may also be able to put &Password=yourpass in there somewhere, but that would be a pretty big security risk. At least this way it fires up with my userid already in there, and I just type in my password and hit enter.</span></div></div>

Where did you get the TS Web Client?

OK...did that. However, it would be cool if it could send the correct parameters to the client util and launch it. ?????

What I did was create a custome tool ...

MSTSC.EXE %E% - You need this from the Terminal Services Utilities

    Worked like a charm.
